AMC8 Preparation

Get ready for AMC8

Enriches Lab supports talented young math learners who are ready to experience their first AMC competition. This class is designed for students working at the middle-school math level who enjoy solving challenging problems.

Our AMC8 preparation course provides a structured way to review key math concepts, strengthen foundational skills, and build confidence in problem solving. While it is not a commitment to pursue competitive math long-term, it is an excellent opportunity to identify learning gaps and develop advanced problem-solving abilities.

Class Overview

• Review essential definitions, properties and techniques in key AMC8 math areas:

  • Arithmetic & Ratios

  • Logic/Patterns

  • Number Theory

  • Algebra (expressions/equations)

  • Word Problems with Functions

  • Geometry (plane/solid)

  • Coordinate/Graph

  • Counting & Probability

• Explore topics at introductory, intermediate, and challenging levels in each area.

• Weekly homework for additional exercise.

• Take 4 progression tests to identify areas for improvement.

• Take 2 full mock tests and receive detailed review of results.

• Dates: Saturdays between 08/22/2026 and 01/16/2027

  • August lessons: 08/22, 08/29

  • September lessons: 09/05, 09/12, 09/19, 09/26

  • October lessons: 10/03, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24, 10/31

  • November lessons: 11/07, 11/14, 11/21 (per request)

  • December lessons: 12/05, 12/12

  • January lessons: 01/02 (per request), 01/09, 01/16

• Time: 9am - 10:30am

Tuition Fee

• A non-refundable $49 registration fee is required at the time of enrollment to cover administrative costs.

• $70 per lesson

• Tuition is charged on the first day of each month for the entire month.

Enrollment

• Students currently working at the middle-school math level are eligible, regardless of school grade.
