Dr. Chloe Chen is the Co-Founder and Program Director at Enriches Lab, where she leads the development of both the Math Inspiration and Coding programs. She brings a strong academic foundation in mathematics, holding an MPhil in Statistical Science from the University of Cambridge and a PhD in Mathematics from Imperial College London. Dr. Chen also volunteered with Robogals, a global organization promoting STEM to young girls through hands-on robotics workshops. This experience, along with her technical background, inspired her to create coding programs that are accessible and engaging for young learners.
Dr. Chen’s passion for mathematics began in elementary school through active participation in math competitions. She earned high rankings in several national and international math competitions, including a Gold Award in the prestigious High School Applied Math Competition in Beijing, China, before continuing her academic journey in the UK. Her training spans diverse curricula from China, Singapore, the UK, Russia, and Japan—giving her a truly global perspective on mathematical education.
At Enriches Lab, Dr. Chen integrates core problem-solving strategies and foundational skills from international systems to develop a world-class math program. She also weaves in K-12 enrichment materials from the University of Cambridge to design engaging math games and activities that make learning both rigorous and enjoyable.
Since 2012, Dr. Chen and Dr. Law have been dedicated to teaching young students. Together, they founded The Center for Early Talents in the UK and offered math Olympiad classes at Imperial College London. Their shared passion for nurturing young mathematical minds led to the founding of Enriches Lab in 2023.
Outside of work, Dr. Chen and Dr. Law are proud parents of two lovely children and a playful poodle-mix dog. With their kids attending local schools in the Belmont and San Carlos school districts, they are deeply invested in supporting local families and building a vibrant community that shares a love for math and learning.
